The Ways of God Are Not Always Clear
Hi there! My name is Fides Certum, and I am an angel. I always have been.
I’ve been through some interesting changes recently, though, since I started having conversations with a demon. His name is Rogatio, and he is intriguing, I have to admit.
The problem with Rogatio is that he’s always asking highly inappropriate questions.
Our conversation started out when I offered to read the Bible with him, to introduce him to the wonders of Christianity.
My name, Fides Certum, means certain faith, in Latin, but Rogatio kept on challenging that faith, which I found to be quite rude. I have certain faith because I believe in God, after all.
I thought, you know, that as a demon he ought to know about the Christian Bible because the Christian Bible is the most important thing in the world. He might end up being not quite so demonic, I hoped.
Actually, the exact opposite happened. Rogatio seemed to refine his demonic personality after reading the Bible.
Still, we were cordial about it, and as a result of this process, we wrote The Demonic Bible together. The first book of this project, our conversation about the Book of Genesis, was just published.
Rogatio certainly has a lot of opinions about things. We humor him. I know he's going to be saved someday, like we all are.
Anyway, I think you should read the Demonic Bible, to edify your spirit, and I look forward to discussing it with you, a human, who is presumably more reasonable than a demon.
